FAQ
Where are you located?
Portland, Maine
I’m not in Maine, can you still make me a jingle?
Of course.
Do you have your own studio?
We have access to studios all over New England, depending on the need. For basic recording, we do it mostly at our state of the art private studio.
Why choose OPJ?
If you want prepackaged boring music for your business, do not come here. Our goal is to provide you with the best musical service in the industry. We offer you the one on one consultation that you don’t get with large, impersonal jingle houses.
How much are your jingles?
Our jingles vary in price, but you can check out our business jingles page for more information. For the most accurate quote, fill out the music request form.
Are jingles leased or purchased outright?
Each jingle comes with one years worth of broadcast rights, during which that time you may broadcast the jingle on the radio, as well as use on the internet. Additional years of rights are available for purchase.
What can I do with my jingle?
Your jingles may be broadcast from anywhere from within Maine or NH for as long as you purchase the rights for. If you plan on broadcasting from other states, we can arrange that too. They may be used in for company commercials on the radio, or for videos shown on the internet or television, provided that Old Port Jingles gets a Credit for at least 3 seconds at the beginning or ending of each video. Songs may not be sold to anyone in any form, as the rights are still the property of Old Port Jingles.
I want to be the voice in my business commercial. Can I?
Yes. Old Port Jingles has portable studio options that we can try, or you may also come to us for your voice over work.
How long does the process take?
Most jingles are written, recorded, mixed in 1-2 weeks. More complex undertakings may take up to 30 days.
Who owns Old Port Jingles?
Old Port Jingles is owned by Erich Pobatschnig.
